A Soccer Star!!!

Lionel Messi 

Lionel Messi is an amazing soccer player. His national team is Argentina and his club team is Barcelona. He is a forward and scores most of the goals on both of his teams. He is a good sport and does not play dirty. He is very fast and has really strong shots. One of his best moves is he runs up from around mid-field, he tricks all the defenders, goes really close to the goal, and chips the ball over the goalie. If you play soccer Messi is a great role model. Many kids look up to him. He is a soccer star!

Messis' Childhood

Messi was a great player when he was young. He didn't become a great player when he grew up, it all started when he was a kid. He probably had a soccer ball with him at all times. One thing that happened in Messis' life is he got kicked off of his soccer team when he was 11. He was a great player but he was diagnosed with a growth hormone that made him shorter than some other kids. But he didn't give up and now he is one of the worlds most famous soccer players

My Opinion

My opinion is Lionel Messi is one of the best players in the world. He is one of my role models because he is a really good soccer player and a good sport. One thing I learned from Messi is always be a good sport. That is very important because if you are a bad sport and purposley trip and hurt people on the field, no one is going to like you. Another thing I learned from Messi is to never give up. Like I said before Messi got kicked off his team when he was 11 but he did not give up and now he is one of the best players ever. Lionel Messi is an amazing player!
